We believe that more money doesn’t have to come with more responsibilities or stress.
That’s why we empower our clients to increase their bottom line in a way that works for them, with profit strategies that support your business goals and (more importantly) life beyond your work.
There’s more to your ‘why’ than just money
Since the beginning, you’ve been committed to building a business that supports your life, not the other way around.
You dream of a business that allows you to spend more time with your family, more time away from screens, more time seeing the world beyond your home office — more time for whatever it is that lights you up.
But you know darn well that your finances need to support that vision.
That’s where we come in
Hi! We’re Jenni and Kristin, co-founders of Fox Gravitt, PLLC. We’re also CPAs, wives, mommas, and, like you, business owners who believe in time freedom.
We help female entrepreneurs simplify and understand their finances, so they can spend less time stressing over numbers and more time doing what they love (inside and outside their business.)
Our stories aren’t so different
Like most entrepreneurs, we started off as overworked skilled professionals. As employees of a small accounting firm, we spent our days crunching numbers and filing tax returns. It paid the bills, but it didn’t exactly light us up.
Worst of all, we were underpricing our services and accepting any client who came our way.
In other words, we may ‘get’ numbers more than your average business owner... but that didn’t stop us from operating from a place of scarcity.
Quite frankly, we worked our tails off
When the opportunity to go out on our own came in 2018, we grabbed it with both hands (well, four hands) — and Fox Gravitt was born.
And you know what? Being an entrepreneur is hard. But you already knew that, didn’t you?
It took us a while to start acting like serious entrepreneurs rather than just people who had created jobs for themselves. We had to learn how to become the CEOs, CFOs, and COOs in our business — not just expert number crunchers.
And it got easier. We learned to pay ourselves consistently. To make decisions based on facts, not emotions. To take on clients who are the perfect fit for what we do, and to spend our time focusing on what we’re really, really good at (and nothing that we aren’t).
Above all, we made sure our finances were the foundation of our business — and we want the same for you.
Like you, we always had a passion for more
When we started this business, we wanted more for ourselves.
We dreamed of a lifestyle business built and scaled on our terms. The ability to put family first, keep things small, and take time away from the business while still being profitable. And we’ve always been more drawn towards time freedom than being a household name.
But we also wanted more for our clients.
We wanted to help other female entrepreneurs succeed. To show them that finances don’t have to be so complicated. And to educate them on how knowing your numbers is about SO much more than just taxes.
More profit = More opportunity. It’s simple math.
Worrying about your taxes and deductions isn’t necessarily going to lead to more cash in your pocket. But understanding your numbers will.
Our biggest priority is making sure your business is as profitable as possible. Because we understand that your vision is about thriving, not just surviving.
Whether your definition of wealth is flying first class to an oceanfront resort, being able to take four-day weekends to spend more time with your kids, or having the financial stability to retire your spouse — that’s what we want for you, too.
It all starts with increasing your bottom line. Ready to grow yours?
