OUR STORIES AREN’T SO DIFFERENT
Like most entrepreneurs, I started off as a overworked skilled professional. As an employee of a small accounting firm, I spent my day crunching numbers and filing tax returns. It paid the bills, but it didn’t exactly light me up.
Worst of all, I was underpricing my services and accepting any client who came my way.
In other words, I may ‘get’ numbers more than your average business owner... but that didn’t stop me from operating from a place of scarcity.
Quite frankly, I worked my tail off.
And you know what? Being an entrepreneur is hard. But you already knew that, didn’t you?
It took me a while to start acting like a serious entrepreneur rather than just a person who had created a job for herself. I had to learn how to become the CEO, CFO, and COO in my own business — not just a expert number cruncher.
And it got easier. I learned to pay myself consistently. To make decisions based on facts, not emotions. To take on clients who are the perfect fit for what I do, and to spend our time focusing on what I'm really, really good at (and nothing that I'm not).
Above all, I made sure my finances were the foundation of my business — and I want the same for you.
Like you, I’ve always had a passion for more.
When I started this business, I wanted more for myself.
I dreamed of a lifestyle business built and scaled on my own terms. The ability to put family first, keep things small, and take time away from the business while still being profitable. And I’ve always been more drawn towards time freedom than being a household name.
But I also wanted more for our clients.
I wanted to help other female entrepreneurs succeed. To show them that finances don’t have to be so complicated. And to educate them on how knowing your numbers is about SO much more than just taxes.

When I’m not in the office, you’ll usually find me spending time with my husband and kiddos, or curled up with a cozy blanket and good mystery book.
I love a good run, but also have at least one slice of pizza a week.
